Our current cancer culture is fixed on narrow and often brutal standardized treatments along with a smattering of support groups. But there is so much more we can do to feel empowered as we walk this most difficult terrain. In this three week course, we'll explore how you can support your immune system through diet and possible supplements; how your mind and body can work together to heal; how forgiveness and releasing past grievances works in your favor; and basically, the importance of trusting and being your own authority along your cancer journey.

I'm an experienced Leadership Consultant and Trainer, Speaker, Executive and Life Coach and author with 30+ years experience in developing leadership potential and empowerment, supporting people at individual or organizational level to develop confidence, leadership and people skills; empowering them to see themselves as the solution. I've also founded Recovering Workaholics. A serious ski accident in 1983, forced me to use a wheelchair. As the Head Teacher (Principle)of a large school I was unable to access most classrooms. I had to look at the bigger picture and develop innovative ways to motivate and engage staff so that they were self reliant, understood how to deliver excellence and take responsibility for their own performance. The approach was successful in maximizing both personal development and leadership potential. It's also why in the 20 years of leading the school, it was acknowledged as one of Ofsted's "Best Schools" twice and included on the HMI honours list as one of England's most successful schools and had a string of quality and kite marks. The approaches have proved just as successful in a wide range of business settings. Books include "Kick Start Your Career", "Manage Your Staff More Effectively" and "Chariots On Fire". www.ginagardinerassociates.co.uk www.recoveringworkaholics.com
Sasha Gray is a Wellness Coach, Raw Food Chef, Permaculture Consultant, Thai Masseuse and Yogi incorporating the Living Food Lifestyle. She is also the Co-Founder of BALANCED WELLNESS RETREATS. Her journey began through her need to eat more consciously and ethically, for the sake of her body and our planet. Growing up on a farmstead in rural Saskatchewan, Sasha has been exposed to the very large business of farming while still being taught the importance of self sufficiency in gardening, hunting, trapping and fishing. Sasha's Russian & Metis roots have afforded her the luxury of learning self sufficiency, medicinal and nutritional methodologies from all over the world. As a former dancer working with such world famous artists as Gregory Hines, she has extensive experience in nutrition related to sports, sports injuries and eating for optimal health and performance. She has studied nutrition with the likes of David Wolfe, Daniel Vitalis, Victoria Boutenko, Gabrielle Brick, Alissa Cohen and Tim Van Orden. Using her skills as a certified Wellness Coach in combination with her practical training received abroad, Sasha is currently incorporating her knowledge in Herbalism and Raw Foods to aid stage two diabetics in reversing their diagnosis.
