I'm a Certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer and Reiki Master. My decision to pursue this field was to fulfill my passion for supporting clients to take control of their health holistically. I received my Health Coach training at the premier nutrition school in the world: The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and Personal Training from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I lead workshops on nutrition/wellness, offer health coaching and/or personal training for individuals/groups and conduct corporate wellness programs.
Brendan is a former professional Ironman triathlete, a two-time Canadian 50km Ultra Marathon Champion, the creator of the award-winning line of whole food nutritional products called VEGA, and the bestselling author of the Thrive book series. He is also the founder of a national, organic, plant-based, whole food delivery service called Thrive Foods Direct. Recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on plant- based nutrition, Brendan is a guest lecturer at Cornell University and presents an eCornell module entitled "The Plant-Based Diet and Elite Athleticism."
Meg has been working as a Registered Dietitian since 1991. She has a diverse nutritition background in a variety of areas including: Eating Disorders, Weight Loss, Cardiac Disease, Gastrointestinal Disorders(Crohns Disease, Celiac Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Diabetes. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT., she completed a post graduate dietetic internship at the University of Connecticut, School of Allied Health in 1991. In the beginning of Meg's career she served as the Oncology Dietitian at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown,CT. Thereafter, she was employed at another major hospital in Connecticut where she worked in a variety of specialty areas including: Cardiovascular Disease, Gastrointestinal Disorders and Bariatrics. The majority of her time was spent on the Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Units. Simultaneously, Meg was established in her own private practice providing nutrition consultations for clients with: eating disorders, diabetes, food allergies and weight management concerns. Meg has worked as a District Dietitian overseeing 13 facilities in MA, CT and PA., where she was responsible for ensuring quality nutrition care for thousands of patients. Meg also served as a member on the Governor's Committee for Physical Fitness in Connecticut, where she served as the "Nutrition Expert". Meg is licensed in both MA and RI.
Born in London and raised in Nigeria, Dr. Eno Nsima-Obot has over 23 years of experience in the health & wellness industry. She graduated in 1987 as one of the top ten graduating students from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, with several awards. When she worked as a primary care physician with a large multi-specialty group in the greater Chicago area, she was a recipient for the quarterly award for compassion. She is passionate about empowering patients to actively engage in their healthcare. This motivated her to train as a professional life coach through an ICF (International Coach Federation) certified program (Accomplishment Coaching) in 2010. This skill has enabled her to have more in-depth and meaningful conversations, even in her everyday encounters. She is an award-winning author of a book for people living with type 2 diabetes entitled, "Dr. Eno's A-to-Z Guide to Thriving with Type 2 Diabetes". She describes herself as a lifelong learner and has always been passionate about exploring and sharing ways to create and promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She describes herself as 'a Thrivor' after a brief brush with cancer several years ago. Following that, she made a personal commitment to more closely 'walk her talk.' This led her to discover the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Delighted that she had finally found her tribe, she completed the intense certification program and, in 2019, became one of only 1200 certified practitioners worldwide. She is committed to working with women over fifty with a particular focus on women of color, and those living with chronic illness, to optimize their health and wellbeing so that they can experience wholesome lives and fulfill their purpose on the planet. She is an avid Peloton® rider and endurance runner. She also enjoys walks in nature, power yoga, as well as spiritual and metaphysical studies. As a functional medicine practitioner and professional life coach, Dr. Eno is well versed on a variety of topics in health, wellness, and personal development.
