This is an excellent class for you if you are new to energy work, considering taking a Reiki 1 class, or intrigued by the idea of receiving a Reiki session from a Reiki practitioner near you. What you will learn in this class: What is Reiki? How can Reiki help? What the five Reiki precepts are and how to apply them to your own life. How to use a Reiki intention box. How Reiki can be used with food and beverages. The reasons to learn Reiki: helping yourself and your loved ones. A brief meditation for the group as I send Reiki to all those taking part in the class. Reiki is a traditional Japanese energy technique. It is not massage; Reiki is a laying-on-of-hands technique that promotes relaxation and healing. I am a Reiki Master in Wichita, Kansas. I began learning Reiki in 2012 and ultimately started a business offering Reiki sessions and classes. I am based at White Dove metaphysical book store and yoga studio.

Imagine that you just went for an annual physical examination, and week later you receive a call from your physician. The tonality of his/her voice lets you know instantly that this is not good news. You are informed that the results of your testing shows that you have a serious medical condition. What is going through your mind? You may argue that you feel fine. After all just before this phone call you were living a normal life. The only thing that changed for you is that all of a sudden you have been labeled with an illness or dis-ease. In this course is entitled, ‘Choosing mindfulness as access to optimal wellbeing when dealing with a sudden chronic illness’ Dr. Eno will be outlining five strategies to help us choose more powerfully how we embrace this information. This will go a long way to avoiding unnecessary suffering and in fact allow us experience optimal wellbeing through the process. As a physician, professional coach as well as a recent cancer survivor herself, Dr. Eno has had firsthand experience practicing these strategies.
