What makes the difference between success, high profits, a well- motivated and engaged workforce, satisfied, loyal customer base and an organization which is struggling to meet its targets, has high levels of conflict, a poorly motivated staff and an ever diminishing return on the effort to succeed? Much research has been carried out on what gives successful companies the competitive edge. Positive psychology used in a structured way has demonstrated, beyond doubt, it gives individuals, teams and organizations across the board the "Positive Advantage". If you want better outcomes there need to be a better quality of thinking. Perspective, motive, emotional intelligence, choice and responsibility are all major elements within our thinking. This session offers a structured approach to "mindful" thinking.

Any organisation is a strong as the team of people they put together. Each person brings with them a unique set of skills, knowledge, intelligences, attitude and baggage. Bring a team together and the resource grows potentially to provide not just the individual set, but the huge benefits that interaction between people can create. Organisations where people pool their knowledge, skills, imagination, ideas and experience have so much more resource to draw upon. If you unpick the elements that make any organisation successful one of the core reasons is the quality of the people within it and the way in which they inter-relate. This course offers a tried and tested 10 step approach to creating your "Dream Team"
To lead others you must first lead yourself. Modelling excellence in leadership is all about enlisting the support of others to accomplish the desired dream. It is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute towards making something extra ordinary happen. Leadership through enlightenment requires the ability to shine a light on the potential and inner qualities of oneself initially and then on others. The challenge is transforming that potential into reality. Enlightened leaders create opportunities for people to recognise their own worth. They then create and maintain the conditions for confidence, experience, skills and expertise to develop and grow. True magic happens when those who have been nurtured and empowered then shine a light on those they touch and in turn pass the beacon on. This session focuses on strategies to develop the leader within you and how to recognise and develop the potential in others. It is based on over thirty years successful experience of developing leaders.

Being a parent brings a huge number of challenges. Each phase in a child's life creates a different set of issues and problems. Working with your child, helping them to develop confidence and self esteem is vital if they are to thrive and do well. Helping your child get the best out of their time at school is important if your child is to succeed in the adult world. Just as challenging is, giving them effective boundaries, helping with homework, talking confidently to the professionals, knowing when to let go and when to say no. This session is designed to help you feel more confident as a parent. The principles and strategies shared in this webinar are the result of over 20 years as the Head Teacher (Principle) of a highly successful school.

How confident do you feel in dealing with others? How often do you avoid saying anything because you fear it will turn into unpleasantness and confrontation? Do you hold your tongue and then regret it? Do you have to get really angry before you bite the bullet and then say and do things you wish you hadn’t? Being assertive is very different to being aggressive. Being assertive means taking responsibility for you and holding others accountable for their actions or lack of them. Being assertive enables you to manage situations with confidence. It is a skill which can be learned, this webinar will teach you the principles of being assertive and offer you a range of strategies which have been proven to work. If you’d like to be more assertive at home or at work join me for a session which will help you be more assertive. Just think how your life would be if you felt confident, strong and in control of your own destiny?
So may of us find ourselves agreeing to do things even when it is detrimental to us. Having said “Yes” we find ourselves flying around, stressed and resentful. Creating a great relationship with yourself where you treat yourself as well as you treat others (no better, no worse) is vital for a sense of wellbeing and a truly well balanced life. In this woebinar we explore the reasons why we give ourselves and our needs a lesser ranking than those of others and consider some strategies to solve the problem. Having the confidence in our own self worth and the skills to say “No” graciously without causing offence to the boss, our partners, parents, inlaws, friends, neighbours or the children can make a significant difference to the quality of our lives. Do you find saying “No” difficult? Do you feel that you have a real choice when you are asked to do something you really don’t want to do? If it happens occasionally it is likely to cause some minor irritation or inconvenience which is short lived. But if it has become the way of life it can be extremely damaging to our sense of self worth and in some contexts our health and well being. There always times when it is appropriate to do things because we want to help or please others, when it is right to do what we are asked by those who have a greater expertise or level of authority. In this context I am talking about an ongoing pattern of saying the opposite to what we really want to do because of something within us, rather than because it is the right thing to do. There are so many reasons why we say “Yes” even though it is the opposite of what we really want. The circumstances and the motivation for this pattern of behaviour can be vastly different for each person. If you want to change the way you respond you need to work out what is at the heart of your need to respond positively. This webinar will help you have a real choice in how you respond.

Confidence affects everything we do in life. The amazing thing is that most people who lack confidence, are under the illusion that everyone else feels more confident than them. Confidence is not about ability but is a state of mind. Creating that state of mind and developing a belief in yourself is entirely possible. These two workshops are designed help you do just that. Just like learning to drive confidence is a skill you can learn. These sessions offer you the opportunity to examine what holds you back, to face those limiting beliefs which get in the way of your feeling good about yourself. They will offer you a range of tried and tested strategies which can quip you to face the challenges which make you feel anxious, shy or out of your depth. Like all things the strategies work best if you are committed to achieving your goal and if you practice them on a regular basis.

Developing confidence is about much more than learning to do an activity better. It is about changing how we feel about ourselves and dealing with our thoughts and beliefs. It is about facing the things we fear and being curious about why we fear them. Learning to push through the fear will create a world of limitless possibilities – one where you are in control of your own destiny. Being confident and taking control of your life means assuming the responsibility for yourself and what you do and say. It means being honest with yourself and looking at what you can learn from each and every situation. Developing Confidence and feeling good about yourself is a skill you can learn. I find it absolutely fascinating how clients always assume that everyone feels more confident than they do. They look around a room and make assumptions about others. If you talk to the others they think are so confident often the reality is quite different. So if you want to feel more confident, come and join us. - What have you got to loose?
