My earliest and fondest childhood memories center on my relationship with animals, particularly horses. In 2004, I transitioned from a corporate career into a profession that would enable me to re-connect more closely with these powerfully sentient and wise beings. Establishing Michigan Equine Therapy enabled me to work daily with the animals I love, providing therapeutic massage and energy healing techniques to improve the quality of horses' lives. Today we are faced with unprecedented disruption in our professional and personal lives. We are watching seismic shifts in our culture and our economy. It is a time of confusion, frustration and fear. The good news is that the human species has endured and survived challenging times like these. The other good news (and bad news) is most of us have not lived through times like these. We have seen the responses ranging from denial and skepticism to panic hoarding of supplies. We can follow the crowd and react to all of the fear, uncertainty, frustration and confusion, or we can step back and evaluate how to respond from a place of compassion and mindful intention. Times like these can bring out the worst in people and they can also bring out the best. I choose the latter. Join me for this discussion on how to use this time to create peace within yourself, enhance your relationships, to use your time effectively to make constructive improvements in your life and the lives of others. We will be covering a wide range of topics over the coming weeks including self care tips, stress reduction strategies, focusing on what matters most, creating the quality relationships we desire, using our time well, goal setting, and much more!
This is an invitation to come together as a virtual community to support one another and to support the healing of the planet. We will be setting intentions for the healing of the planet and its inhabitants and we will be doing a number of guided visualizations. Everyone Is Welcome.
How do you talk to yourself? What does your inner monologue sound like? Would you ever say to another human being what you say to yourself? How would your closest friend react if you spoke to them the way you speak to yourself? In this class you will learn to identify hurtful and negative self talk and how to replace it with positive self leadership. We will explore how creating an inner BFF avatar can enable you to create the loving and compassionate support you need to improve your life and move through it peacefully.
Are you a Type A Personality? Ambitious? Driven? Goal Oriented? Do you set exceptionally high standards for yourself? And do you punish yourself when you do not meet your goals? As a recovering Type A personality who works with many Type A individuals, I have seen and experienced the results of negative self talk. Feelings of unworthiness, failure, disappointment, frustration, low self esteem. In this class we will explore how to get to the root cause of this negative self talk and how to flip the script.
When we are stressed we are often caught in a continuous loop of action and reaction. When this happens we are giving away our energy and our power. In this class you will learn: 1. How to neutrally observe your reactive mind 2. Techniques for slowing down your thoughts and emotions 3. Choosing to respond versus react 4. Honoring yourself by managing your own energy and power
Stress is inevitable and when left unaddressed and unmanaged can create serious health issues from chronic pain or illness to acute medical crises. In this class you will learn: 1. Stress is the body communicating something needs attention. 2. Know how to identify your body's unique way of expressing stress. 3. Learn what your triggers are because being prepared gives you a head start on managing stress. 4. Have immediate coping mechanisms you can employ for 5 minutes to get yourself centered and calm again. 5. You will learn about 4 specific types of activities you can learn and do immediately to get relief from stress and restore balance and calm for a happier and healthier 2020.
Our first webinar was a great succes and so I am offering this as a repreat for those who could not join us on 12/22. Timed with the bright light of the new moon, we will mindfullyand compassionately review and release the energies of 2018 and begin to intentionally co-create the year we want for 2019. Ancient cultures were much more closely connected to the cycles of the sun and moon, and the seasons. Ceremonies and rituals marked these moments of significance. Tonight we will create rituals and ceremony to compassionately release 2018 and intentionally create a 2019 that reflects our highest good. It is a time of reflection, thanks and forgiveness that we can give ourselves and the planet for the healing of the world. During our time together we will center and ground ourselves, clear old energy of the past and create sacred space to invite in a more loving and compassionate future. Everyone is welcome to join this gathering.
What is distance or remote healing? How does it work? What kinds of issues does it help? How can I (or my animals) benefit from this work? We will explore all of these questions and more. This webinar is an introduction and overview. The truth is everything exists in an energetic form before it becomes physical. We will play with energy and invite it into our experience. We will be doing a couple of brief exercises and a visualization, so you can experiment with energy for yourself! Be sure that you are using a compatible browser and have headset/ microphone capabilities, or we can do Q and A through instant messaging on the platform.
We have been rocked to our cores watching the tragedies of the fires in California. So many lives lost, so many habitats and environments ruined. We fear for the missing and displaced. This is our opportunity to come together as a community of animal lovers to share loving intentions for healing for all of those effected by the horrible fires in California. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a Reiki or energy practitioner to participate. Bring your open heart and loving intention for all suffering beings and we will lift them up.
This class is for anyone who has been faced with the overwhelming decision to end a beloved animal's life. If you have had a lifetime with animals, you have probably had this painful experience. Perhaps you wonder and worry that you ended your animal's life too soon, or waited too long and thereby prolonged their suffering. Euthanasia guilt is very powerful and overwhelming and adds complexity to healing our grief over the loss of a beloved animal. If you would like an opportunity to communicate with your animal(s), this is the webinar you have been waiting for. If you have regrets, guilt, or even questions, we can release and heal these during our session together with the animals who have crossed.
Many of us dearly miss those animals who have meant so much in our lives.There are things we want to say. We have questions. Most of all, we want them to know how much we love them and miss them. This is a guided visualization that will enable you to connect with your animal family whenever you want.
During this session you will be invited to tell the group your animal's name, location, and species. We do not need to know more than that, but you may share more if you wish. After introductions and some basic information, we will do a guided visualization, and I will send distance Reiki to everyone who wishes to participate and receive Reiki. You do not need to be in physical proximity with your animal for both of you to participate. During the webinar, you will type in the names,species and locations of your animals and we will set our intention to send Reiki to them wherever they are. This can include animals who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. A little about my background: I am a Holy Fire II Usui and Registered Karuna Reiki Master. I study with and have received my attunements and initiations from William Lee Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training.William is generally considered one of the leading teachers, researchers, and practitioners of Reiki in the world. So I am very fortunate to have studied with one of the best! ;) I am a lifelong animal lover and rescuer and have devoted many years to working professionally with animals. My life's purpose is to be an advocate and helper of all animals. Reiki is one of the many gifts I can share freely and without limitation to all animals on the planet. If you do not know, Reiki is a traditional Japanese method for natural relaxation and stress reduction that was brought to the U.S. after WWII. It utilizes positive, loving, universal energy and does not violate free will. Over the last several decades Reiki has become increasingly more popular in hospitals, nursing homes, veterans programs and in other health care and wellness locations. It is safe, gentle, and has no side effects or risks. It is not a religion and is compatible with any belief system. My goal is to offer Reiki to all the animals of the world who need and want to receive this loving and healing energy. I also wish to create a community of connected animal advocates and animal lovers who are open to sharing knowledge that can help all species live more peacefully and healthily on our planet.
