Welcome to the Online Classroom for the "Chef Works Leadership Training Program!" This platform is a supplement for the on-site sessions conducted on site at Chef Works, Inc. in Poway California. For "remote learners" it will actually act as a substitute for the on-site sessions that some may not be able to attend.
Welcome to Online Office Hours (OOHs) for students of Jeffrey Klubeck's Public Speaking Courses. Sessions are dedicated to (in this order): 1) Answering participant questions LIVE on the spot for those attending in real time.... 2) Providing a review of what was covered the week before and a preview of what's ahead the following week for students engaged in a given "semester" of coursework...3) Provide valuable recordings for learners that cannot attend in real time but would still like to "eavesdrop" on the questions of other students and 4) Expose learners to the wonderful platform of Learn it Live!
"Online Office Hours" is a "first come, first served" for members of the monthly online Coaching Hour! Members attending live sessions can ask (by voice or text) their coaching questions and get real time, live interaction and coaching from Jeff Klubeck. If there are no questions, Jeff will be "ready to go" with his "takes" on the gamut of personal and professional development topics that most of his clients bring up in his sessions. The "next-best-thing" to hiring Klubeck as YOUR personal Coach is subscribing to Online Office Hours!
This is the online substitute or supplement for "Speech 103: Oral Communication" taught by Professor Jeffrey Klubeck. This version is Private and only offered to actual students of the San Diego Community College District who are currently enrolled in Speech 103 with Professor Klubeck. Ivy League studies have routinely shown a correlation between goal-setting and "success" yet studies also show that only about 3% of our population ACTUALLY bothers to set goals. We ARE NOT talking about "hopes" "wishes" "dreams" or any figment of our imaginations that we have not TAKEN ACTION towards realizing! We are talking about "coach-able" GOALS that, at MINIMUM, meet the popular "S.M.A.R.T" criteria that many "goal setters" claim to be familiar with...or any criteria that includes Accountability (we'll explain). The first thing this course will do, however, is BREAK DOWN the difficulties in setting goals. We'll give FIVE ANSWERS to the critical question: Even knowing that it leads to success, why do most of us FAIL TO SET GOALS? Next, this course will teach you Get A Klu's S.M.A.A.R.T. criteria and Goal Setting Methodology! Don't just set S.M.A.R.T goals, set S.M.A.A.R.T GOALS! Find out what is wrong with the "S.M.A.R.T." goal-setting model and decide for your self if Get A Klu's S.M.A.A.R.T. goal-setting criteria and methodology is right for YOU! Step by step, you will learn how to set Goals EXACTLY how we teach our Coaches and Clients...giving you a "that was half the battle" mentality that makes it impossible NOT to pursue the life you really want! Finally, if there are any live participants/volunteers in the session, we'll do some LIVE COACHING specifically on Goal Setting and see Jeff Klubeck AND his S.M.A.A.R.T. Methodology IN ACTION! This classroom is a LIVE Information and Q&A Session for Prospects and Students of the Get A Klu Coaches Training which starts the first week of April and continues for 15 consecutive weeks with 90 minute online sessions each week. Enrolled Learners will also receive 12 Private one-on-one Coaching Sessions with a Head Coach in addition to any "accountability partnerships" formed with other learners in the training. Learners may elect a learning path to an Independent Coaching Contract with Get A Klu or may simply take the information to incorporate into their own practice or career. There is no obligation to work with/for Get A Klu upon completion of this training. OBJECTIVES: The primary objectives of this course are to introduce you to a wide variety of coaching outcomes, strategies, techniques, tools, scripts and formats that will empower you as a “change agent” for anyone that gives you permission to be their coach (Manager, Supervisor, Director, Team Leader, etc.)! In very broad brush strokes, upon completion of this coaching and leadership training, learners will be able to: • Deliver “breakthrough” perspectives and unquestionable “value” for anyone in a single coaching session! • Give immediate and viable strategic problem-solving solutions to any client for any key life or small business result area! • Diagnose needs, replace limiting with empowering beliefs, and create lasting transformation for any client! • Simultaneously hold someone powerfully AND gracefully (keeping rapport) accountable to their commitments! • Condition and strengthen a client’s level of integrity (command of self, calendar, and word)! • Assist ANYONE in the process of goal-setting, strategic decision making, effective time management and work-life balance! ADDITIONAL OBJECTIVES FOR "HONORS" (GAK Coaching Contract Track) STUDENTS: • Be able to enroll prospects into coaching programs • Be able to perform Behavioral Assessment Debriefs (DISC & Values) • Be able to deliver effective "Motivational and Accountability" Coaching • Be able to generate leads/identify prospects of Coaching • Be able to build a Coaching "practice" (calendar full of paying clients)
