We can often paralyze ourselves by focusing so much on what our overall "life purpose" is that we don't move forward on what we should be doing right now. While your "life purpose" expresses your big picture, you may have several "missions" that will dominate certain times of your life. By discovering your current life mission, you can stop being stuck and start to make a difference. This webinar will be especially helpful for independent health and wellness practitioners who are being told they need to find a "niche" but aren't sure where to start.
Whether you are just starting your holistic business or looking to re-invigorate it, it's a good idea to step back and look at the big picture. Why are you doing what you are doing? What is your ultimate goal? Too often, courses promising to "fill up your practice" don't deal with the deep inner struggles solo-practitioners and entrepreneurs face when launching a business. The confusion and internal struggles. Only by recognizing and acknowledging these can we truly move forward. We'll also explore some practical issues about your holistic business. Do you want a solo practice where you are working one-on-one with clients? Do you want to teach? Do you want to make yourself the expert or create a name for a product or business? By exploring these issues, we can get clearer and more focused on our big picture, which makes it easier to move forward on our daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Qigong is a comprehensive healing system from China that works with "life force energy" or "chi" (also spelled qi) as the basis of health and well-being. It has been around for thousands of years, and has hundreds if not thousands of forms and branches. Qigong consists of movement (like Tai Chi), meditation, and energy healing. In this introductory lecture, you will gain a basic understanding of Qigong and how it works.

You've heard about low carb/low fat diets, but what about a diet that's right for your body type? Ayurveda is the ancient yogic system of health and wellness. In this class, we'll cover the basic concepts behind Ayurveda and food, and how to approach your diet using very simple guidelines. This is not about rigid dietary rules, but about using your diet to provide balance and equilibrium to your body and spirit. When you eat based on your Ayurvedic body type, you can not only improve your health, but manage your emotions more effectively.
The old models of government don't seem to be working. Socialist countries are going bankrupt, while capitalism seems to be rewarding the few at the expense of the many. Is there a way to create a better world where people can be free as well as taken care of? Or are these things mutually exclusive? In this class, we'll discuss the concept of "non-aggression" or "non-coercion," and how it can be used to help build a voluntary society of empowered spiritual community members instead of "consumers."
