Description
This event will consist of a half day workshop for researchers and sponsoring organizations following a full day event for interested community members.

In the year 2000, acclaimed business futurist and consultant Peter Drucker commented that the corporation as we know it would not survive the next 20 years. Specifically, he noted that it would need to fundamentally change structurally and economically. Organizations face an imperative to become agile.
Presenters
Dr. David Alberts, a chief strategist with the Department of Defense and originator of the concept of the "Agility Imperative" ( PPT : PDF of some of his recent work) will give the keynote on Friday.

Other participants include individuals involved with World Bank operations, Project Management Strategy at IBM, emerging technologies at Gartner, the former Chief Knowledge officer of the US Navy, a co-author of NATO's standards for cooperative engagement, and others.
