Hello my name is Darrell Hyatt and I would like to welcome you to office hours. You may be wondering what exactly are office hours, they are a casual and open discussion of computer and technology issues. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions which you need answers to around the use of technology in general. Office hours will be held once a month and anyone is welcome to submit a question and I will try to get to answer as many as I can during the time that we have. This four-part workshop teaches founders the essentials for a thorough understanding of their business models. We will discuss terminology that investors, banks, accountants expect you to know, understand and use, as well as the details and underlying assumptions of financial models. We will also dive into your individual business� financial model for specific advice.

Jane Sarasohn Kahn brings her extensive and varied experience in health care to her course �Health Care Costs and Consumerism.� In this educational webinar Jane will discuss and analyze the rising health care costs experienced within our system and how the changing role of the consumer can impact these costs. Health care costs per capita have reached enormously high prices and our system is having an increasingly difficult time managing these costs. Recently, we have seen technology encourage a more transparent health care system and more engaged consumer. In order to ensure the Health 2.0 community has the most up to date information, Jane will be providing a detailed definition of health care consumerism, identifying the market drives behind the growth of consumerism in health care, the implications for increased health care consumerism in our health care system, and she will share her market forecasts for the next 5 years of health consumerism.
Graph Theory can be applied to networks of doctors and hospitals in order to improve care coordination and protect profits. This course will go over the basic concepts of graph science, with the intention of applying the concepts to the DocGraph data set. Learning Points: Understand notions of centrality and graph traversal. Understand influence patterns Understand what a network motif is and why you would want to search for them Understand how to translate healthcare issues to solvable graph problems.

This three-part workshop is a concentrated, unique program that helps founders and technologists of concept-stage startups begin interacting with customers early in the development of their companies. Customer Discovery utilizes coaching to provide a personalized learning experience. During the course of the workshop, you will develop a customer engagement action plan, a positioning statement, market-sizing data and a product development plan. This is the first part in the three-part workshop. Please be advised: This is a lock step series; you will not be allowed to attend parts out of order. However to get the full impact of the sessions, we strongly recommend you attend in person when possible.
