To parent like a guru requires mindfulness as well as a beginner's mind. It requires a clear intention of what is desired through this life-long spiritual practice of parenting. It takes courage to look deeply into one's being for what is in alignment with our highest desires for our children and grandchildren. We gain curiosity, so we willingly look at our beliefs, interpretations and ways of being, which may interfere with following through, moment by moment, to the fulfillment of our desire to parent like a guru. This course is an introduction to the practice of parenting with your own unique spiritual values and principles in mind. As you cultivate awareness of the many life elements that influence your parenting, you will gain self-trust, self-respect and honor of your own inner parent-guru. You will leave with tools to empower you to choose in ways that provide the desires you are wanting, for you and your children. You will be thrilled as you increase your potential for making your child's spirit soar. This course comes from my most recently published book: Cultivating Spirituality in Children: 101 Ways to Make Every Child's Spirit Soar. As a grandparent I questioned the best way to teach my grandson about spirituality. This internal discussion inspired me to write the book. A free video series: Parent Like a Guru, also grew out of this book. And now this introductory course. Who knows where all of this could lead?

If you've ever thought your child is an "over-reactor", "difficult" or "dramatic" this webinar is for you! Often Highly Sensitive Children are mislabeled because their temperaments are misunderstood by the well meaning adults in their lives. This webinar designed for parents of Highly Sensitive Toddlers will unravel these misunderstandings to alleviate parental frustration AND shift your HSC's behavior. The first 5 years of every child's life brings inevitable challenges, but for HSC these challenges seem to magnify. Daily tasks like getting dressed, eating, sleeping, riding in the car and even playdates can be excruciating for both parent and child. In this 75 minute webinar we will have time for Q&A and you will learn how to: * Reduce the frequency and intensity of your child's tantrums, breakdowns and meltdowns * Discover how you can be less triggered by your child's "big emotions" and outbursts. * Use emotionally healthy discipline strategies designed specifically for Highly Sensitive Children. * Fall in love with your children all over again... * Begin implementing all of these tools immediately, even if your parenting partner isn't on board!
This webinar is for parents of highly sensitive children and will answer the question, "Why is my child so sensitive and what can I do about it?"
Most parents believe their child needs swim lessons to learn to swim properly. This is in most part due to lack of knowledge of effective and appropriate techniques to implement on their children to teach them to swim for FREE. Many of the strategies and techniques I will be sharing with you in this workshop are techniques I use on my students in this age group but not limited. I will explain each swim skill I teach during my lessons and for what purpose it is for. Any alterations to these techniques will give you a different outcome. I have been using these techniques for many years and it is effective on each child. I will permit parents to ask specific questions about their children to tell them what technique to use for child to progress to a safe level of swimming.
