Description
Our current cancer culture is fixed on narrow and often brutal standardized treatments along with a smattering of support groups. But there is so much more we can do to feel empowered as we walk this most difficult terrain. In this three week course, we'll explore how you can support your immune system through diet and possible supplements; how your mind and body can work together to heal; how forgiveness and releasing past grievances works in your favor; and basically, the importance of trusting and being your own authority along your cancer journey.
Pre-requisites
Purchase Embrace, Release, Heal: An Empowering Guide to Talking About, Thinking About and Treating Cancer, by Leigh Fortson. You do not need to read the entire book prior to the class, but browse through it and read what speaks to you.
Other than that, bring an open mind
Additional Information
The class will be interactive with the first half addressing the topic of the week, while the second half of each class will be a Q&A.

About Creator
I've been interested in writing and being healthy for a long time. I've written, ghost written and edited a boatload of mass market non-fiction books. After I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, my world turned upside down; but after my 3rd diagnosis, I decided to go on a journey of healing from the inside out. As part of that quest, I wrote a book, Embrace, Release, Heal: An Empowering Guide to Talking About, Thinking About and Treating Cancer. It's full of hopeful interviews from people with little hope who turned their lives around after conventional treatment failed them. It also features doctors and authors who are looking for new ways to treat cancer, as well as how the mind and body work in unison. I get emails from people everyday who have found new hope and power through the book. It's my intention that everyone who reads it will find new, more joyful and compassionate ways to live.
