Shamanism 101- Shed Your Skin Many animals shed their skin to grow bigger. For humans, which I assume most of you are, shedding our skin means giving up limiting beliefs about yourself. This allows you to step into your power- to become a bigger, better person & to do more in your life. In this shamanic journey, you'll meet your inner healer who will help you learn to let go of beliefs that no longer serve you. This class will be recorded, you can return to the journey as often as you need to release any other negative beliefs you find in yourself. MORE ABOUT SHAMANISM 101: This is a series of regular classes designed to help incorporate Shamanic practices into your daily life. Though the classes are interconnected, each one also stands alone so that, while regular attendance is encouraged, it isn’t necessary. Every class will also have a chance to experience a shamanic practice- meditations, journeys, healing work, ceremonies and more. Subjects include Shed Your Skin, Allies in Both Worlds, Council Fire, Web of Protections, Past Life Spelunking, Meet a Spirit Animal, Meet Your Dragon, Taking the Quantum Leap and more. I'll have several classes a month, staggered through out days and times so that every time zone has a chance to experience the class. You can follow me through LIL, or go to my website- atlantashaman.com- and go to my ""where I'll Be"" page. Any questions? You can email through LIL or email me at [email protected] Program Details

"Ayurveda tends to have a reputation for working mostly on the physical aspect of life including purification techniques and food/eating regimes and practices, body treatments and therapies etc......however Ayurveda has an exceptionally in-depth system of psychology and spiritual focus that can have an incredibly powerful impact on physical and mental health along with deep spiritual integration. In this 1hr symposium we'll discuss the basic principles of Ayurvedic psychology and how it is crucial to optimal health and over all thriving in life "

A native of San Francisco California USA, I was influenced early on by the creative environment around the Bay Area. This fertile beginning enabled me to grow into what I am now. A spiritual empath, a medium, a teacher. The vital life force of humans, animals, and all that is in the universe is made up of distinctive frequencies, colors, sounds and relationships. My stepping stone to learn about this was Chinese Medicine. But it has gone so much beyond that and now I'd like to help others discover their own path to their own enlightenment. One basic concept in Chinese medical theory, which is what shiatsu and qi gong are also based upon, is to follow nature faithfully. This can mean to live according to nature by eating, dressing and behaving in accordance with the climate around us. It also means living according to ones own true nature. To be your authentic self so your life is harmonious and has true meaning. Good physical and mental health begins from this point. And further, a person in balance with themselves and the world around them creates a ripple effect in those they come in contact with, others are affected in a positive way. This is active compassion which is such an important part of Chinese medical and Buddhist logic that it is considered the main healing factor. The most important thing I experienced in my studies of Chinese medical theory and the hands on approach of shiatsu is that we truly are all connected by the life force that makes us humans on this planet. We feel better from our illnesses and traumatic experiences when we reach out to help others who are suffering. I know this for a fact. I have seen it thousands of times and lived it in my own life. Chinese medicine provided the framework for me to understand this basic concept. There are many frameworks and religions who teach the same thing. The point is I took action, I transformed what I once was, way out of balance, into who I am now, someone who allowed my traumatic experiences to propel me into a compassionate life. I am someone who listens without judgement or criticism to your story because I can understand and relate to your desire to be a survivor and not a victim. Every experience we have gives us tools we need at some point in our lives. I alone am responsible for the interpretation of events in my life. I broke through and so can you.
