Inflammation is a normal part of the body's healing process. Our body becomes "inflamed" due to injury or infection, and white blood cells rush in to keep the body safe and protected. BUT chronic inflammation, on the other hand, which goes on for long periods of time, damages the body leading to heart disease, arthritis, bowel disorders, cancer and age-related diseases. Egads!
We've got to get chronic inflammation under control. And, much of it begins with your gut and what you are eating and how to cook it (or not cook it).
