The First Degree Reiki is focused on physical healing and is primary self healing based. In this series you will explore and gain the knowledge of the history of Reiki, the energy system and the nature of Reiki energy, the Reiki Code of Ethics, the five principles, the physical aspects of the chakras, how to feel your chakras, standard hand positions and how to use Reiki to provide a treatment for yourself through practical application.

Clinical Studies have documented the effect of Reiki on measures of stress hormones, blood pressure, heart rate, and immune responsivity, and on subjective reports of anxiety, pain and depression; data from these studies support the ability of Reiki to reduce anxiety, stress and pain, and suggest its usefulness to induce relaxation, improve fatigue and depressive symptoms, and strengthen overall wellbeing, including wound healing. Additionally, Reiki is being utilized as a self-care strategy among healthcare professionals, with the potential for decreasing burnout and increasing job satisfaction.

Class Duration 4 Hours + breaks

Please ensure that you are in a quiet, relaxing space for the class, where you can both sit and Stand and turn freely.

During the live class, Cassaundra encourages participants to turn on their mics and ask questions or share - she will simply pause the recording at intervals throughout the class to allow for interactive participation, which she feels benefits the learner.
