Sidney is a co-founder of Learn It Live and the acting president. He is a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal and Honduras. After returning from Nepal, he founded Maya Trading, a Web-based enterprise that imported and sold fair trade artisan goods from Southeast Asia and Central America. He also founded Deca Donas, a social enterprise in Honduras that specializes in baked-goods manufacturing and distribution, with all profits funneled into a local community center for children's programs.

He is fluent in Spanish, Nepali and Italian, and dabbles in Hindi and French. He competed in his first Half Ironman triathlon in 2011, has practiced yoga by the Ganges, and is a big fan of the concept of equanimity.

After working extensively in the developing world, Sidney saw the need for a global learning community that would make expert instruction available to everyone, everywhere. The journey is underway at Learn It Live.

Siddhant is the technology leader of Learn It Live. With over a decade of experience in technology management, he has a passion for architecting large and scalable Web systems. He is a former Microsoft engineer and is currently active in the emerging Web start-up scene in India. He has a Bachelors in Computer Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.

In his spare time, he builds technology platforms to solve traffic problems in crowded cities of the developing world.

Sam is a co-founder and leads product and platform development at Learn It Live, connecting the business and technology sides of the company. With a background in economics, user experience design and journalism, Sam has led numerous projects throughout the world, including Canada, Bolivia and India. He designed and helped implement a seed and start-up capital program that provides early-stage financing to rural producer organizations in Bolivia. He is also a former financial journalist and front-end designer for a Canadian financial news publication.

Passionate about global development issues, Sam has volunteered throughout Latin America and is fluent in Spanish. He believes in the incredible power of the digitally connected world, and loves building education and civic media platforms that allow more people to engage with this wonderful new world.

Nate is the head of programs and partnerships at Learn It Live. Nate's passion is making sure there's tons of great experts and programs available to the world here on the Learn It Live platform. Before Learn It Live, he spent many years in the health care industry, working with consulting teams to facilitate process improvement and create meaningful organizational change in hospital systems around the country.

Nate is passionate about creating new systems and structures that allow people to live healthier and happier lives. A yoga teacher and nutritional foodie in his spare time, Nate lives to bring people together using the gift of communication and positive change.

Laura leads the incredible Learn It Live community, making sure both instructors and students have what they need for a fantastic learning experience. You're most likely to run into Laura around Learn It Live as you're joining our instructor community or in one of your classes as a fellow student. A Louisiana girl at heart, she graduated from LSU with a major in Finance and Communication Studies. Laura then spent some time working for Ernst & Young as a Senior Adviser in the Business Technology space.

Passionate about health, Laura has been eating a plant-based diet for over five years and really enjoys researching the science behind how the foods we eat impact our well-being. She's also been practicing yoga for several years and is currently studying to become a yoga teacher in the Ashtanga practice. She is also interested in using information technology to create value, enhance efficiency, and disseminate information.

David is on the Learn It Live technology team, working on new features and enhacements. He has a Master's in Computer Applications and has a passion for building Web apps using Open Source platforms, mainly in PHP and MySQL. Before joining Learn It Live, he worked on projects spanning the social Web, training and education, and search.

David is a technology enthusiast and, in his spare time, learns everything he can about emerging trends and tactics. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and more computer languages than he'd care to admit!

Russell is the Director of Production at Learn It Live, which includes managing audio/video elements at conferences, leading Learn It Live shoots, facilitating smooth and prompt production flow, and corresponding with clients to ensure high-quality Learn It Live experiences. Now in his third year with the Learn It Live team, Russell has spent his entire professional career in Atlanta as a free-lance filmmaker, musician and producer, working for such clients around the Southeast as Southern Outdoor Cinema, the Icebox, Magnum Productions, Rusky Productions, and more.

An artist and connector, Russell is most passionate about creating community through shared interests. Russell hopes Learn It Live can be a beacon to connect many people and communities throughout the world, creating strong bonds and irreplaceable friendships.

Michael works on business development for Learn It Live. Before Learn It Live, he worked for a European Media Company, where he produced and executed international media projects. These film and print-based projects took him to Switzerland, Spain, India, Slovenia, the Eastern Caribbean Islands, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Albania, Moldova, Serbia... and a few others too!

Michael is passionate about changing the way people can learn, all around the world. His biggest hobby would be music: writing, recording, and playing.
