How does it work?

The Initiative has two core elements:

1. Upon applying to the site, every expert and organization is asked if they would be willing to volunteer some of their time to provide instruction for at-need groups and communities. The Learn It Live team then works with non-profits on the ground to identify pertinent needs and develop relevant e-learning programs, pulling from the Learn It Live expert base for instruction.
 
2. Non-profits and other similar social groups are allowed to use the site free-of-cost and are encouraged to offer their socially beneficial trainings and classes to extend their impact.

Through the Development Initiative, individuals and development causes will have access to learning opportunities that were formerly beyond their reach. At Learn It Live, we hope we are doing our part to turn the vision of a flatter learning landscape into a reality.
