Cassandra Herbert is the creative owner of Zest and Harmony Counseling and Creations By Cassandra and the founder and visionary behind Just BEE Wellness.
A registered nurse who received her masters in Adult Mental Health Nursing from the University of Maryland and a post-masters in holistic nursing from Tennessee State University. She is also a certified chemical dependency nurse and an acupuncture-detoxification specialist.
Throughout her nursing career Cassandra has taken numerous classes on herbs, nutrition, womens health and wellness and holistic living. She has incorporated what she has learned into her life. She went from being a sugar addict to a vegan, whole foods eating, label reading enthusiastic.
In 2011 she decided that with all this beneficial information she had about health and wellness she wanted to share it with others. Cassandra strategically blended her extensive professional education and experience as a board certified nurse psychotherapist, with her passionate and extensive holistic-living research and study. The result of which is the opening of her practice Zest and Harmony counseling and the start of Just BEE Wellness community. Both businesses are focused on providing resources and tools in assisting others on their wellness journey.
While in high demand as a speaker, coach and counselor, Cassandra still finds time for her husband and business partner, Lovell, travel, bellydancing, reading, gardening and other fun and creative pursuits. She indeed practices what she preaches.
